10th Anniversary Weekend

APRIL 26, 27 and 28, 2013

The purpose of this weekend is to celebrate 10 years of English Country Dancingin Montreal. Participants will embark on a journey to the past through music and dance in an atmosphere of pleasure and simplicity.

John Playford is a key figure in English Country Dance. Playford pioneered the publication of English dances in The English Dancing Master, in 1651. Over time, many other choreographers from different countries have followed in his footsteps. Many other choreographers from different countries followed suit, and today Gary Roodman choreographs and publishes new country dances set to music that respects both their spirit and tradition.

FOR THIS OCCASION, WE WILL HAVE

THE GREAT PLEASURE TO HAVE WITH US
